This document will cover some of the key aspects of creating a collectible post on t2.

Who can create a collectible post?

Anyone can create a collectible post on t2.

How do I create a collectible post?

Create a new draft

Start a new draft by clicking “New post” in the navigation bar, or head to the Territory you want to write you’re post in, and click “New Territory post”.

Publish your post

After finishing writing your post in the editor, click “Continue” or the cogwheel icon to access the post settings.

Check the general settings of your post, such as the Territory you’d like it to be published in, and whether you’d like to store it on Arweave permanent storage. When you’re ready, click “Confirm Publish” to save and publish the post. Now you’re ready to create your collectible.

Your post is successfully published when you see the success modal, and the link to view or share your article is displayed under that “General” tab, as well as “Published” is indicated in the navigation bar.

Adjust the Collectible Settings

Head to the “Collectibles” settings tab in the post settings page, either directly through the success confirmation modal or via the list from the menu on the left.

First, you’ll need to create a collection if this is the first collectible you’re creating on t2. Think of this as the folder you’re creating that will hold all of your collectible posts. Upload an image, title, and description of your collection. Future collectibles will be also added to this collection.

Next, click “Collectible Item” to adjust the item settings, such as the image, title, and description of the actual collectible item. By default, t2 uses the cover image uploaded for the post, title of the post, and the first 300 characters of your article. However, you can make any changes you’d like.

Next, click “Collectible Options” to set the price of your collectible. Enter the price you’d like to set your collectible item, and any other settings including the time limit. See below for more information regarding pricing.

You’ll be able to save any changes to your progress at any time by clicking “Save changes”.

Once you’re done adjust all settings for the collectible item, click “Create” to create your collectible post.

You can verify the collectible as been successfully created by checking the post page. Now, it should have both a “collect” button, and a verified transaction hash linked in the “Transaction Details” section panel.

Pricing a Collectible

The minimum price a collectible can be set to is 0.000111 ETH, which is about $0.27 USD at the time of writing. This is the base price for all collectibles. Any prices that you set will be added on top of this base price. This allows the creator (you) to earn rewards for successful collectible purchases, and accumulate revenue over time.

Here are a few examples:

  • The creator sets the item price to 0 ETH, collectors pay 0.000111 ETH + any transaction fees
  • The creator sets the price to 0.1 ETH, collectors pay 0.100111 ETH + any transaction fees

Fees Breakdown

How much money you’ll make from a reader purchasing your collectible item will depend on what the price of the collectible item is.

  • Creator receives 95%
