Recently, I am fascinated by knitting, and I am full of joy when I look at the wool that can be turned into warm clothes or cute little things through a stitch and a thread. I'm going to buy some wool today to start my knitting trip.

Walking into that small wool shop, I was surrounded by colorful wool in an instant. Wool of various thicknesses, materials and colors are neatly placed on the shelves, like a colorful dream world.

My first consideration is the material of wool. Wool wool is soft and warm, which is an excellent choice for knitting scarves and sweaters, but the price is relatively high. Although acrylic wool is cheap, its warmth and softness are worse, and its texture is not very good. Finally, I set my eyes on the blended wool of cotton and wool. It combines the breathability of cotton with the warmth of wool, and the price is moderate. It feels very suitable for the rug I want to knit.

Then there is the thickness of the wool. Coarse wool knits fast and the finished product is thick, but the stitch is relatively large and not delicate enough. Fine wool can weave delicate patterns, which takes much more time and requires higher stitches. On balance, I decided to choose medium coarse wool, which can not only ensure the knitting speed, but also make the blanket look textured.

I really struggled with the choice of color for a long time. Bright colors are very eye-catching, but they are worried that they will not look good; Although the simple and elegant color is low-key, it seems to be a little less lively. Finally, I chose soft beige as the main color, and then mixed with a few colored wool, which was intended to be used to weave some small patterns as embellishment, which was both warm and interesting.

After some selection, I finally went home with the selected wool with satisfaction. This process of selecting wool made me understand that every small choice may affect the final product. I look forward to knitting warm and beautiful blankets with these wool. In this process, I will certainly gain more happiness and satisfaction.
