The G2 Esports organization was founded in 2013 by Cardinal "k0nfig" Sakal and other professional players. The team initially focused on League of Legends, then expanded its horizons into other disciplines, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. G2 quickly gained attention thanks to its talented players and ambitious management.
In 2015, G2 signed its first CS:GO roster, which became known for its successful performances in international tournaments. Since then, G2 has undergone many roster changes, but continues to be one of the leading teams in the esports arena.
