When I went out today, the wind blew on my face like a knife, but there were still many people in the street. While waiting for the bus, I noticed a female rider, and her figure immediately attracted me.
She wore a thick riding suit and a helmet, wrapped tightly, revealing only a pair of bright and firm eyes. She skillfully fixed the take-away box in the back seat of the electric car, and she was a veteran at first glance.
I wonder how she, as a girl, chose to do this hard and tiring job as a rider. So, when she was finished, I got up the courage to come forward and talk. She was very enthusiastic and chatted with me with a smile. She said that she used to work in a factory, with long hours, low salary and little freedom. I came into contact with the job of a rider by chance. Although it was hard, the income was not bad, and I could arrange my own time, so I decided to give it a try. This attempt is three years.
While chatting, her cell phone suddenly rang and an order came. She smiled apologetically at me, said, "Sorry, I'm going to deliver food", got on the electric car and quickly disappeared into the traffic. Looking at her distant back, my heart is full of admiration.
In the evening, I ate in a small restaurant, and coincidentally, I met her again. She just delivered the last order and came in for dinner. I went over and sat at the same table with her. She took off her helmet, revealing her hair soaked with sweat, but her face was filled with a satisfied smile. She said that she ran more than 30 orders today, and her income was not bad. Although she was tired, she felt a sense of accomplishment.
At dinner, she told me about all kinds of people and things she met on the way to deliver food. Once, when delivering food to a sick customer, the customer repeatedly thanked her when she received the meal, which made her feel that all the hard work was worth it. Another time, because of the traffic jam on the road, she almost overtime, and she was particularly anxious. Fortunately, the customer understood and did not give a bad review.
Listening to her story, I can't help feeling that although she is just an ordinary female rider, she lives hard in this city and pursues her dreams by her own efforts. She is like a beam of light, which illuminates her life and warms others.
After dinner, we said goodbye. Watching her ride away, I think there may be many difficulties in life, but as long as she is hopeful and brave, she will surely usher in her own beauty.
