The other day, I happened to pass by a flower shop. He noticed my fondness for yellow roses and sent me a bouquet the very next day.
However, for some reason, I couldn't stop thinking about that single rose in the flower shop window. Somehow, I always felt that this bouquet wasn't as delicate and charming as that single one.
One day, I playfully asked him, "Do you really love me?" Actually, just hearing him say the word "love" would have satisfied me. But not only did he say "love", he also went on and on, listing numerous reasons for his love. As I listened, my mind started to wander...
One doesn't need too much!
Sometimes, people really don't have to obtain or hear a great deal. A single flower, a green leaf, a knowing smile, a touch of tenderness, a bit of sincerity, a caring greeting, or a sympathetic sigh can make us feel as if we're sipping fragrant tea or mellow wine.
As long as there's a pair of warm hands reaching out to me when I'm physically and mentally exhausted, I'll be able to pull myself out of the difficult situation with this helping hand;
As long as there's an understanding friend by my side when I'm troubled, I'll be able to pour out all my worries and find relief for my soul;
As long as there's a faint setting sun on the horizon when I'm gloomy, it will be able to light up my bewildered eyes.
