Today is really a full and meaningful day. I helped my friend clean up the classroom.
In the morning, my friend came to me with a sad face and said that the classroom in their class had become very messy recently because of various activities. The teacher hoped that the students could tidy up after class, but he felt the task was arduous by himself, so he asked me for help. I agreed without hesitation, because I knew that friends should support each other in times of difficulty.
When I came to their classroom, I was startled by what I saw. The desk is full of books and exercise books, there are many scraps of paper and dust on the ground, and some broken tables and chairs are piled up in the corner. We decided to start by tidying up the desks. Together with my friends, I sorted out the books and exercise books on my desk and put them neatly in my schoolbag or drawer. For some papers that are no longer needed, we collect them and prepare to throw them away. In this process, we also found some things that our classmates have lost for a long time, and the joy of getting it back makes us feel that our efforts are very valuable.
Then, we began to clean the ground. We sweep the scraps of paper and dust together with a broom first, and then mop the floor clean with a mop. In the process of cleaning, we also realized the importance of keeping the classroom clean and tidy. If everyone could develop good hygiene habits, there would be no such heavy sorting work.
Sorting out the broken tables and chairs in the corner is the most laborious task. We had a hard time moving them outside the classroom, ready to wait for the logistics staff to deal with them. Although we are very tired, we are filled with a sense of accomplishment when we see that the classroom is gradually becoming neat and orderly.
After several hours of hard work, the classroom has finally taken on a new look. Neat desks, clean floors and bright windows make people feel happy. My friend is full of gratitude to me, and I am glad that I can help him.
By helping my friends clean up the classroom this time, I not only gained friendship, but also understood a truth: unity is strength. One person's strength is limited, but when everyone works together with Qi Xin, many seemingly difficult tasks can be accomplished. At the same time, I also realize the importance of keeping the environment clean and tidy. Only in a clean and tidy environment can we study and live better.
