Injective has always been the alpha!
Right from their ionic upgrade that boosted their 24 hr trading volume by over to 25.22%.
And now, with their upcoming upgrade, injective is set to do even better.
All details were revealed in their recent summit
🧵🪡
Before we dive into the main alpha for today, a bit intro on injective 👇
Injective provides tools to build DAPPs that focus on diverse financial functionalities In the crypto space.
Essentially, it’s the first sector-specific blockchain built specifically for finance.
The Injective Summit in Bangkok, Thailand, was a groundbreaking event that shaped the future of finance. With nearly 1,000 attendees and 20,000+ online viewers, the Summit showcased the Injective ecosystem's energy and innovation.
Top crypto projects, including Agora Finance, Monad, Binance, Keyrock, and Offchain Labs, led engaging discussions and debates, offering valuable insights into crypto's future.
The Summit's unique venue, hosted at the Four Seasons in Bangkok, featured three interactive zones:
1. The Conference Zone: An immersive space with massive screens, where guests experienced the future of blockchain through interactive presentations.
2. The Ecosystem Zone: A lively marketplace styled like traditional Thai food stalls, where partners showcased their innovations and connected with attendees.
3. The Ambassador Zone: A cozy space for relaxation, networking, and bonding, featuring gaming, exclusive merchandise, and comfortable seating.
Starting off this summit was Eric Chen, the CEO and co-founder of injective
who opened by Discussing injective’s efforts in rwa and how its latest integration with Agora will enable seamless interactions between injective and primary markets.
And hopefully also create mass adoption for injective.
He also announced injective’s multiple Vms updates, which is fully integrated onto injective and will allow developers access all the core advantages of injective regardless of where they’re building on.
Complementing this, Eric also introduced the IAgents, a tool that’ll enable users to build custom on-Chain Ai agents.
Injective will be the first blockchain to offer multiple Vms that’s accessible to all developers and hopefully we will see it’s full launch Q1 2025.
Following Eric, was Nick Van Eck, Agora’s founder who opened by telling a little story!
(Which I personally loved)
And adding how stablecoins are stepping stones to making tokenized assets a reality. and Agora and injective is at the forefront of this evolution.
Next, A panel of speakers From injective labs, binance and other orgs took to the stage to tackle a pressing question.
Do we need so many tokens in crypto???
While there were many comments, my fav take will definitely have to be Luke who shared his valuable insights on tokenized RWAs and their potential to bring trad- fi on-chain.
He emphasized that to achieve mass adoption, we need people who genuinely believe in the importance of on-chain transactions.
He also acknowledged that while the technology has made significant progress, it still requires more work, and institutions have been "close" to adopting, but not quite there yet.
Moving on, the co-founder of Selini capital, Head of BD of caladan and others gathered together to speak on
Value vs valuation-creating a price of thin air.
Jodri Alexander, led the conversation by sharing his thoughts on token pricing.
He advised teams to focus on supply and demand, rather than the initial price, as it will eventually adjust within the first few weeks.
He also emphasized the importance of setting attainable goals that correlate with market conditions.
After a very insightful session, Will Leung wrapped up with valuable advice for founders.
If you missed it, you can catch the full clip for all the details.
When I say this summit had everything, I truly mean it.
The event brought together esteemed speakers from Sommelier Protocol, Across, Xion and Sei Network, who shared their insights on the pros and cons of Cosmos versus Ethereum.
One personal take that really stood out to me was from
Hart Lambur, who noted that Cosmos and Ethereum had distinct objectives from the start.
But As Ethereum evolved from its monolithic stage, attempting to become more inclusive of multiple networks,
It's interesting to consider whether it could have learned from Cosmos' approach and avoided similar pitfalls.
The summit continued with a panel of speakers discussing the future of VMs.
Ed Felten shared insights on arbitrary VMs, while Anthony Beaumont provided a critical analysis of existing VMs.
The summit concluded with a session on "What does BD even do," hosted by Ze Atalaya.
The panel featured esteemed speakers, including Clayton Meadow (Head of BD at Babylon), and Illustrious (Founder of PRMR),
who if I might add came with a bright green mask on!
(Talk about being committed to not doxxing 😂)
These speakers delved into the importance of Business Development (BD), emphasizing the need for proper communication between teams and exploring the role of BD in driving growth.
As the summit came to a close, attendees had the opportunity to explore the interactive spaces set up by the team.
The event was a resounding success that will be remembered for a long time you Catch the full recap below ⬇️
