(Rose- A Fictional Forbidden Romance Story) <<Part-3>>
.......Aarav was feeling tired as he sat in his office, he had been working overtime.
When his eyes moved towards the clock on the wall, it displayed the time as midnight. Aarav looked up and saw that almost all the other lecturers had already left the computer lab and had headed back home to the dormitories.
Aarav picked up his mobile and opened his office door, walking away from the department towards his guest room quarter.
When Aarav reached the college reception, the attendant sitting behind the reception desk was fast asleep. He sat hunched over in his chair, dozing.
When Aarav saw him, he called out; "Hey Rakesh, are you sleeping?"
The lab attendant was alerted by Aarav’s voice, causing him to stand up quickly with his eyes half closed. Rakesh was very sleepy. He felt that he had been caught in an act. Feeling guilty, he straightened himself up and said, "Good evening, sir, I was just closing my eyes and thinking, I wasn’tasleep."
Aarav waved his hand dismissively, replying; "It's alright, don’t worry. But you need to go with the key to the computer department and lock it up. I'm going to the dormitory nowto sleep too."
After the receptionist heard Aaravspeak, he quickly picked up the key from the desk and walked towards the computer lab. Aarav walked towards the guest dormitory quarters.
Meanwhile, in the girl'sdormitory, Rose waited anxiously for Aarav to arrive to her room. Another student, Letty Himani, who slept in the adjacent bed to Rose, had already fallen asleep. However, Rose felt wide awake, her eyes felt no sense of exhaustion. She felt stubborn and defiant that her birthday cake would only be cut after Aarav arrived.
She sat in her room, repeatedly looking out the window at the dormitory gate, her eyes eagerly waiting for Aarav to arrive.
When Rose saw Aaravapproaching the dormitory gate, she quickly woke up Himani and told her; "Let's go downstairs, we can cut the cake now. Aarav sir has finally arrived."
When she heard this, Himani stood up from her bed, her eyes still tired as she followed Rose downstairs.
When Aarav reached the door of his guest room quarters, he took the key out of his pocket and put it in to unlock the door. Just as he was about to open the lock, he suddenly heard Rose's voice from behind him.
Rose said, "Sir, we have been waiting for you. Let's cut the cake together in the dormitory common room."
Upon hearing Rose's voice Aarav stopped and turned around to see Rose.
He exclaimed, "Hey, you guys are still awake! Why haven't you cut the cake yet?"
Rose replied, "Sir, we were waiting for you, that's why we are still here."
Aarav, feeling tired, said, "I need some rest. You guys go ahead and cut the cake."
With that, Aarav opened the door with the key and entered the guest room quarters, closing the door quietly behind him. Rose's excitement dwindled after hearing Aarav’s response, and she slowly made her way to the common room with Himani.
However, as they were about to go in, the dormitory warden, Mrs. Chachra, stopped them outside. Looking at Rose, Mrs. Chachra asked, "Haven't you cut the cake yet? Quickly cut it and then go to your room."
In a sorrowful tone, Rose replied, "No ma'am, we were waiting for Aarav Sir to join us but he didn't come."
Mrs. Chachra asked, "Why? What happened to him?"
Rose answered respectfully; "I don't know ma'am. Please try calling him, maybe he will come if you ask."
Mrs.Chachra nodded her head, replying; "Okay, let's go girls.I will try and get him to come."
Having said that, Mrs. Chachra walked towards the guest room quarters to fetch Aarav. At the time, Rose was overjoyed, and she laughed with joy, holding Himani's hand as she followed Mrs. Chachra.
*******
Mrs. Chachra reached the door of the guest room quarter, and upon reaching, she rang the bell. Rose and Himani were also with her.
Aaravstood in the bathroom, washing his hands and freshening himself up when he heard the doorbell ringing. He picked up his towel, dried his face and opened the door.
When he opened the door, Aarav saw Mrs. Chachra standing with Himani and Rose behind her.
Aarav looked at Mrs. Chachra once and then gave a second glance at Himani and Rose.
Aaravnodded his head politely and said to Mrs. Chachra, "Good evening, ma'am."
Mrs. Chachra nodded her head back, replying; "Good evening, sir."
Mrs. Chachra smiled a little and said, "Aarav Sir, the girls wanted me to call you to cut the cake, you should come tojoin us, after all, it will make them happy."
Aarav replied, "Ma'am, I am a bit tired, I finished work in the computer department not long ago. I thought it would be better if you all cut the cake together."
Mrs. Chachra smiled and said humorously, "That doesn't matter, if you are tired then we can bring the cake to your room and cut it. There will be a nice little celebration in your guest room quarter today huh?"
Aarav felt trapped and unable to refuse Mrs. Chachra's suggestion.
He said, "Okay, ma'am,as you say. Bring the cake here."
Rose, who was standing behind, was listening intently. When she saw Aarav agree, she felt ecstatic. The sadness in her heart was replaced by joy, she felt it pounding from her chest as her eyes and face lit up with happiness.
Mrs. Chachra stared at Rose and Himani, finally ordering them to get the other girls and the cake from the common room and bring it back to Aarav’s dormitory. Both the girls jumped with joy; after hugging each other they ran towards the dormitory to get the other girls. Mrs. Chachra waited with Aarav.
After a while, Aarav saw Rose coming towards the guest room quarter with the cake in her hands, accompanied by all the girls from the dormitory. He noticed how happy she looked at that moment.
When Rose and all the girls arrived with the cake, Mrs. Chachra and Aarav walked inside the quarters and all the girls followed them inside.
There was a large circular hall in the Guest Room with a table where Rose placed the cake. After lighting the candles, all the girls wished her, "Happy Birthday, Rose!" to congratulate her.
Rose made a wish, blew out the candles and cut the cake with a knife. She then put a slice on a plate for Mrs. Chachra who was standing nearby, she accepted the piece of cake, taking it from Rose's hand and placing it into her mouth. Rose distributed the cake to all the girls and also gave a piece to Aarav, who looked fascinated while eating. Rose's innocent eyes shone with delight at that moment.
*******
It was 1:00 o clock at night. Therehad been a lot of activity in Aarav's guest room quarters that day, all the girls were still gathered in Aarav's guest room, so the girls' dormitory was nearly empty.
Rose looked very content at this point. Everyone had eaten her cake and given her gifts, which she happily accepted.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Chachra, the warden of the girl’s dormitory, spoke out, "Calm down, girls and listen." When the girls heard the warden's voice, they all became silent.
Mrs. Chachra smiled and looked at Rose, saying, "The birthday girl has cut the cake. Rose, if you made a wish for yourself, then tell us, and we will fulfil it together."
When Rose heard this, she started thinking. She knew what she had wished for, but she was uncertain whether she was allowed to say it.
Mrs. Chachra giggled, looking at Rose with a cheeky smile, "Hey, what are you thinking? Share your thoughts. Today, all your wishes will come true," she said.
Rose let out a long sigh, finally deciding to admit the truth she answered, "I want to dance." When the other girls heard they jumped with joy and agreement."But I want to dance with Aarav sir," Rose finished.
After the girls heard what Rose had said, there was silence in the hall.
Aaravhad also heard Rose's request. But he didn't know how to dance properly.
When Mrs. Chachra heard the birthday girl's request, she became silent and thoughtful.
But, she then smiled at Aarav and said, "Today, we will all watch a dance by Aarav sir and Rose."
When the girls in the hall heard Mrs. Chachra's decision, they jumped with even more enthusiasm. One or two girls in the back whistled in joy.
When Aarav heard this from Mrs. Chachra's mouth, his throat became dry. He frowned a few times thenshook his head and said, "Madam, I will not dance."
Mrs. Chachra moved closer toAarav, using a tone intended to cause emotional manipulation she said, "Hey sir, please dance with her for two minutes. It's her birthday. What’s the problem? Make Rose happy, you’re her favorite teacher, Sir."
Aaravfelt badly trapped. He couldn't refuse Mrs. Chachra. He started thinking again.
Mrs. Chachra said, "Girls turn on the music, now Aarav sir will dance with the birthday girl."
The girls had already moved to the music system, playing loudmusic.
Aaravcouldnot see any way out; he stared at Rose. Rose was dressed in a white frock designed with bright gold stars and in smallhigh-heeled sandals. She looked even taller that day and even though her makeup had been worn for the whole day, the makeup on her eyes was still in its place. Somehow that day she looked even more beautiful.
When Rose saw Aarav agreeing to dance, her happiness knew no bounds. Her wish had been fulfilled; her heart swelled with joy, her heartbeat quickening as she grew red with a mixture of shame and happiness. At this time, there were waves of high happiness rising in the sea of mind within her, she so desperately wanted to collide with Aarav's heart.
With shy delicate steps, Rose walked up to Aarav and extended her hand towards him for the dance. Aaravlooked up at her, taking her hand in his hand with a polite smile.
*******
Inside the halls of the guest room quarters, the lights were shining. Girls were standing all around the entire hall, thrilled to see the dance of Aarav and Rose.
A song started on the music system and all the girls clapped their hands, saying encouragingly, "Come on Rose!"
The girls all chanted her name, and the dormitory warden Mrs. Chachra also supported her by clapping along.
When Rose heard the crowd around her, she tookAarav's hand and started dancing to the music. Being a Kathak dance student, she had a lot of expertise in dance and started dancing with Arav’s hand in hers.
She danced well in all four directions in front of Aarav and sometimes behind him, spinning around.
While dancing, she felt as if all her wishes had been fulfilled, she moved like raindrops on a desert. Dancing with Aarav, she felt intoxicated by the dance, which was slowly absorbing in her mind like an obsession.
Aarav, who still felt very tired, had never joined a dance group before. Seeing Rose dance around him made him feel uncomfortable, though he remained composed, holding onto Rose’s and trying to move along with her.
This was the first time in Aarav's life that he felt such happiness on his doorstep. Rose made him feel a sweet form of love that he had never felt, as though his life had been as dry as a desert before.
Rose, feeling intoxicated while dancing with Aarav, swings in his hands. Rarely experiencing such moments in life, she wanted to cherish those happy moments in her heart.
She danced in all directions in front of Aarav. Rose felt very thrilled that he was dancing with her. She wanted to swing in Aarav's arms that day.
After meetingAarav's arms, she blossomed and was enchanted, just like Ganga when he had become enchanted after seeing Shiva's locks.
Shiva was all around; joy was all around. There was no fear, Rose felt as confident as Ganga, there was no fear in Rose's heart. That day, she was finally secure and blissful in Aarav's arms. This intoxication of love and joy had become magic in her heart, mind, and body.
And just like that Shyam-Sundari is immersed in the love of Thakur ji, who wants to be immersed in her devotion and does not want to come out of him. In the same way, Rose was also in love at this time with Aarav. She didn't want to get out of it. His fragrance filled her soul, overwhelming her mind and body. She danced around Aarav and raised both her hands. Closing her eyes with contentment, she swungintoAarav's arms. Aarav leaned over her, holding her with both hands.
Rose was swept away in Aarav's arms as Ganga was swept away in Shiva's locks. His long black hair hung backwards, and both his hands also hung backwards. With this storm of love, Rose wanted to get inside herself. She closed her eyes.
Suddenly, she felt a drop of water fall onto her face. Rose, who had been swinging in Aarav's armsopened her eyes. When she opened them, she saw eyes as red as Shiva.
Aarav's eyes were burning like flames.
*******
When Rose saw Aarav’s red eyes, she stopped dancing and stood up straight. She couldn’t understand why he looked so hurt; she tried searching deeper into his eyes to find the answer.
Aarav’s eyes looked very sad. Automatically, a few tears fell from his eyes, capturing Rose’s utmost attention. Aarav spoke to Rose: "Hey! Please Stop the Dance!” Then ran to the bathroom.
As Rose and Aarav's dance hadfinished, the girls turned off the music system so there was some silence in the hall. They stood around Rose trying to understand what had happened, but no one could understand the reality.
Mrs. Chachra, who had also witnessed the events, could not understand the matter either.
She stared suspiciously at Rose who stood nearby her. She felt that Rose did something.
She walked to Rose, looking suspiciously, "Hey. What happened? Why did Aarav sir leave the dance without saying anything?”She questioned.
Rose was upset and had no answers, but she knew she had to come up with some explanation. She answered sadly, "No ma'am, I didn't do anything wrong. Suddenly Sir... got upset… I don't know anything.”
There were whispers around the hall from the girls who were standing there. Some girls looked at Rose as though she had become a criminal in their eyes. The attention was focused on Rose, everyone’s eyes filled with questions.
Meanwhile, Aaravstood by the sink in the bathroom. He put the tap on and washed his mouth and eyes with water, picking up a nearby towel after drying his face.
Aaravfelt alone in this world. His parents died in childhood. Since childhood, he had suffered from orphan treatment. He had not received love since childhood. It was his aunt who raised him.
Rose had changed his upset life with her love. Sincerely, he had never seen this kind of selfless and pure love in his life. Seeingtrue and selfless love from Rose filled his eyes with tears.
Wiping his face with the towel, Aaravexited the bathroom and returned to the guest room hall. All the eyes in the room turned and looked at him, questioningly.
He was unprepared when he heard Mrs. Chachra eagerly ask—"Hey Aarav sir what happened? Why did you go?"
Aaravanswered, " Oh no ma'am, I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. There must have been a mosquito in my eyes, so, I went to the washroom to rinse my eyes." Aaravsmiled warmly, wondering if he did a good job at hiding the truth.
"And why did you all girls stop dancing? You should show us how to dance so we can see if you can do it better than us,” Aarav continued in an easygoing tone.
When the girls heard, they turned on the music system again and everyone started dancing.
When Rose heard Aarav, her heart did not feel confident in his words. She stared at Aarav, the curiosity never faltering from her eyes.
When Aaravnoticed Rose's eyes were on him, he tried to avoid her gaze. Mrs. Chachra, who was standing nearby, noticed and started talking to Rose. But Rose never took her eyes away from Aarav.
After the girls had danced for a while, Mrs. Chachra turned the music off and instructed the girls to go back to their rooms in the dormitory. It was almost 4 AM.
Rose slowly followed them, returning to her dormitory room. As much as she thought, she could not work out what was the matter with Aarav.
In parallel, Aaravclosed his door, stretching on his bed to sleep.
*******
The next morning, Aarav woke up late. He hadn’t slept many hours after the party the night before.
He saw from his window that the sun had already risen to its highest peak. That daywas Sunday so the college was closed, and Aarav could relax that day.
He got up from his bed to look more closely out the window. He noticed there was a lot of activity going on outside his room. Aarav looked through the glass, the business was coming from the girl's dormitory. Aarav walked lazily towards the bathroom to freshen up.
After showering, he left the bathroom and dried himself with the towel, dressing in a T-shirt and slippers. When he was ready, he headed to the canteen to have breakfast, which was located behind the admin block of the college.
Usually, there was a separate time for the girls and boys to eat, but there was no fixed time for the staff.
When Aarav reached the canteen, the manager, Mr. Bakshi, stood at the main gate. He saw Aarav, bowed with folded hands from a distance, and said in a funny way, "Hey Aarav sir... I haven’t seen you in a while, where have you been?”
Aarav also stepped forward, shook hands with Bakshi Sahab, and accepted his greetings. Then he said with a smile, "Hey Bakshi sir, I am always here. You are the one who is not around."
Bakshi Sahib replied with a few more laughs, "No Aarav sir, nowadays you are like the "moon". You disappear... You have night duty, so you're out at night. That's why you can't be seen during the day." After saying this, Bakshi laughed for effect.
Aaravlaughed with Bakshi, who took Aarav's hand and directed him into the canteen. Upon entering, Bakshi called the lunch attendant.
The attendant, who served food moved speedily towards Bakshi upon hearing his name. "Sir, please tell me what you need,” he said.
Bakshipointed his finger at a table in the far corner of the canteen andsaid, "Clean that table thoroughly and serveAaravfood."
The attendant replied, "Ok, sir," he picked up a cloth, cleaned the table, and returned to the kitchen to bring the food.
Aarav sat at the table while Bakshi went towards the kitchen for rounds.
At that moment, it was the girls' turn to eat in the canteen. The hall began to fill up with all the girls in the dormitory. Aarav sat in a corner, observing the hall. His gaze fell upon the entrance.
Rose entered the mess hall with her friend, both holding hands. Aarav sat patiently, waiting for his food, Rose smiled when she noticedAarav sitting in the corner. Her heart began racing, she picked up her tray and joined the food line.
*******
Rose stood in line with the tray in her hand near the food display. She stood at the back of the line and many girls waited ahead of her.
As she stood in line at the dinner table, she looked uneasy. Her eyes kept wandering towardsAarav, who sat in the corner of the mess hall. She thought that Aarav would have left his table before she got served and she wouldn’t have the chance to speak to him.
Though he was still sitting there when Rose approached the front of the line, she quickly piled food onto her plate and hurried towards his table, leaving her friend behind. Aarav, who was eating food, saw Rose coming towards him.
Rose smiled and said in a cheery tone, "Good morning, sir!"
When he heard this, he looked at Rose. "Good morning," he mumbled. He noticed Rose wore a long T-shirt that looked like a night dress.
“Sir, if you don't mind, can I sit with you?" Rose asked Aarav in her English accent.
“Yes, sure, why not?" Aaravagreed, gesturing towards a vacant chair near the table.
When Rose heard this, she put her plate of food on the table and pulled the chair forward in front of Aarav. She sat on the other side of the table.
Rose sat down with a thud at the table, already speakingsheasked," Sir! How did you like my birthday cake?"
“Yes... It was a nice cake. The food was also tasty,” he answered truthfully.
“But sir… You had eaten my birthday cake and didn’t sayhappy birthday to me." Rose said with a teasing smile, winking at the end of it.
"Hey, I wished you a happy birthday with everyone else when you blew out the candles," Aarav said.
"But sir, that means nothing if you said it at the same time as everyone else. You must wish me a happy birthday personally,” Rose continued in a low tone, wanting to push Aarav deeper.
Aaravwas astonished, avoiding her gaze, he murmured- "Okay, I will wish you a happy birthday personally on your next birthday.”
Rose smiled, her eyes growing bigger as she felt satisfaction with his answer, she replied, "Sir, if you want you can tell me right now. I am sitting right in front of you".
Aaravsmiled back at her and said simply, "Okay... Happy Birthday to you."
Rose narrowed her eyes at him, her smile turning mischievous as she craved more attention.
"Sir, is this wish coming deeply from your heart? " She asked him, playing shy.
Aaravfelt slightly annoyed by her, “Will you let me eat my food or not?" He replied, with a huff.
When Aarav said this, the bell in the canteen rang. The girls' time was up, and now it was the boys' turn to eat in the mess hall.
Rose’s eyes grew sad, standing up from the table and making a somewhat sorrowful face, saying, "Sir, it seems I lose track of time when I speak to you. My time for eating is up, and I haven't even eaten."
She picked up the tray with her plate of food and said, "Bye Sir!"
Aarav replied, "Goodbye!” Feeling somewhat relieved to see Rose leaving.
She emptied her plate in the bin, left the tray on a rack for cleaning and exited through the hall door, heading back towards her dormitory.
After finishing his meal, Aarav got up from the table and made his way to his guest room quarters.
*******
After having breakfast in the canteen, Aarav returned to his guest room quarters when he saw Pawar Saheb standing with his team outside the gate of the girls' dormitory. It appeared as though they were doing inspections, though it also seemed like they were searching for something on the ground.
A map was visible in Pawar’s hand. He was studying the map he held, while others were searching on the ground.
Pawar Saheb worked as the Estate Manager andwas responsible for the maintenance of the college. Pawar, though dark in appearance, was diligent in his work. Despite his short height, he worked with long dedication.
Aarav observed the group from a distance and approached Pawar to inquire about the matter.
When Pawar saw Aarav, he greeted him and jokingly said, "Aarav sir, what mischief has your department been up to at the college? They never let us rest."
Amused, Aarav responded, "Why... what did our department do to Pawar Saheb to disrupt your peace?" Aarav laughed, taking Pawar’s hand and shaking it.
"Oh, nothing, I had a meeting with your Arora Saheb and Director Sahab. He called and informed me there is no internet in your computer department or the girls' and boys’ dormitories. So, we’re putting in new, upgraded Wi-Fi devices. Now the students will be able to use the school Wi-Fi on their mobile phones," Pawar informed Aarav.
Aarav frowned with his eyes at Pawar. "No, there was no such meeting yet. If there is any sudden decision, as the head of the computer department, then I should have the say."
Pawar looked upset for Aarav, "Oh, that decision happened suddenly. Some children complained to the director and the meeting was called suddenly,” he told him in a somber tone.
"Let's see. We'll know by tomorrow." Aarav replied.
Pawar and Aaravstood by the gate of the girls' dormitory and continued their discussion. Rose came from the other side of the dormitory, with Mrs. Chachra behind her.
Rose’s eyes immediately latched onto Aarav, she moved with speed towards him, "Sir, what are you doing?" She called out to him.
"We are here to install Wi-fi in the girls' dormitory so that the Wi-Fi can be usedon mobiles," Aarav answered, surprised to see her moving towards him.
Mrs. Chachra followed closely behind Rose, still feeling somewhat suspicious of Rose’s attention to Aarav after her birthday party in the halls of the guest room quarters. "So, sir, when will it be ready?” Mrs. Chachra asked, her eyes focused on Aarav.
"Let's see, we haven’t got it up and running yet. It might take some time." Aarav responded.
Mrs. Chachra looked over the top of her glasses at the group of men who were digging.
"So, sir, will Wi-fi work in our rooms too?" Rose asked, feeling impressed.
"Yes, it will work in the entire dormitory," Aarav replied.
Pawar tapped on Aarav’s shoulder and said to him - "Come on, Aarav, sir. Can you help us inspect to find a place where the internet wire can connect to the dormitory?"
Aaravnodded his face seriously, "Yes, let's see," he answered.Aarav walked with Pawar away from Rose and Mrs. Chachra.
After watching them walk away, Mrs. Chachra and Rose headed towards the girls' dormitory.
*******
The next day, when Aarav reached the university campus, he immediately got busy with his work. Aarav was working on the computer in his office when the intercom on the table rang.
"Hello," Arora Sahib's voice came from the other side he said, "Son Aarav, can you come to my office at once?"
“Yes Sir, I will come now,” Aarav answered.
Aaravleft his desk and headed towards Arora Sahib's office.
As soon as Arora Sahib noticed Aarav enter his office, he spoke immediately, "Son Aarav, there was a meeting with the director yesterday, we decidedto upgrade to fiber optic internet. It needs to be set up in the server room to the boys’ and girls’ dormitory to activate Wi-Fi connectivity."
Arora thought for a moment, before speaking again. "I want you to be in charge of this and get the internetup and running as soon as possible," he commanded.
Aarav nodded his head, “Yes Sir, ok, I will begin straight away, and I'll keep you updated on my progress," he said.
Arora waved his hand at Aarav, “It's alright, start working early tomorrow," he replied.
"Yes Sir!"Aarav answered, then turned around, opened the office door and walked out.
Upon reaching his office, he picked up the intercom and dialled the number for Pawar Sahib's office to get the work report.
Pawar Sahib answered through the phone, "Aarav Sir, you should get the fiber optic box to install the Wi-Fi devices inside the dormitory. It’s outside, I'll get the labour boys to complete the work."
"Okay, please work quickly," Aarav said and hung up the phone.
He picked up the phone again and called the university’s IT-vendor. The IT vendortold Aarav he would send people to start the work tomorrow.
Aarav hung up the phone, picked it up quickly again, and dialled another number. This time, he called Mrs. Chachra, the warden of the girls' dormitory. As soon as she picked up the phone, Mrs. Chachra said in a sweet voice, "Hello, good morning, Mrs. Chachra speaking."
"Ma'am Chachra, Aarav here," he announced.
"Yes sir, Good morning, please tell me what you need," Mrs. Chachra replied kindly.
"Ma'am Chachra, I am coming to the girls' dormitory. The Wi-Fi device from the university’s side needs to be installed in the dormitory. I want to check the layout of the girls' dormitory to install the Wi-Fi devicein the right place. I request you to accompany me while I visit the girls' dormitory."
"Yes sir, you come, I will stay with you,” Mrs. Chachra agreed.
After the conversation, Aarav hung up the phone and sat deep in thought. After a while, he stood up from his seat, picked up his mobile phone, and walked towards the girls' dormitory.
*******
Aarav walked from his office and reached the girls' dormitory. Aaravheaded straight to Mrs. Chachra's office, where Mrs. Chachra was sitting in her office, working.
She looked at Aarav, and with a smile, she said, "Come on, sir, take a seat."
Mrs. Chachra extended her hand towards a chair, motioning Aarav to sit down.
Aarav sat down, looking at Mrs. Chachra, he said, "Ma'am Chachra, if you are free, let's go see the layout of the dormitory building for a moment."
"Sure, sir. Let's go now. But first, let's have some water,” Mrs. Chachra responded.
She rings the doorbell above her office door andher assistant sitting outside the office comes running.
Mrs. Chachra ordered the lady attendant, "Bring two glasses of water please."
After some moments, the assistant returns to Mrs. Chachra’s office with two glasses of water in her hands.
"Sir, if you'd like, I can also order for you some coffee,” Mrs. Chachra offered.
"Not right now, ma'am. We can have coffee later. For now, let's go and take a look at the girls' dormitory layout,” Aarav continued.
Mrs. Chachra stood up from her chair and walked towards the dormitory. Aarav accompanied her.
The girls' dormitory building stood very tall, with four floors. Each floor had a separate drinking water arrangement and a common washroom that anyone could use at any time. Additionally, there was a lady attendant on each floor ready to assist the girls whenever they needed.
Female first-year students are housed on the first floor, while the old and final-year students are allocated rooms on the higher floors.
The top floor also featured a gym where the girls could focus on their health, exercise, and break a sweat. The dormitories had both stairs and a lift for the girls to navigate through.
Mrs. Chachra approached the lift and pressed the button on the left. When it arrived, both Mrs. Chachra and Aaraventered.
Once inside the lift, she askedAarav, "Sir, which floor should we visit first?"
Aarav suggested, "Let's go to the top floor!" Mrs. Chachra pressed the top floor button, and the lift ascended.
Aarav surveyed the top floor with Mrs. Chachra, making notes in his diary of potential Wi-Fi locations. After moving to the third and second floors, Aarav recorded the Wi-Fi locations on the first floor with Mrs. Chachra.
Rose's room was on the first floor, where Aaravidentified the ideal spot for Wi-Fi access points.
Mrs. Chachra knocked on Rose's door to discuss the Wi-Fi point. Hearing the noise, Rose got up. Withlazy footsteps she moved to open the front door.
*******
When she heard the door knock, Rose stood up from her bed and walked with lazy steps, she opened the door. She saw Mrs. Chachra standing at the door, with Aarav standing behind her.
At that moment, Rose's hair was dishevelled, and her face looked a bit sleepy. Seeing Aarav at the door, she was shocked, removing some hair from her mouth, she said, "Good evening, ma'am, good evening, sir!"
"Good evening girls," Mrs. Chachra said as she entered the room, with Aarav following.
Once inside the room, Aarav looked around for a place to access the Wi-Fi.
As Aarav searched, Mrs. Chachra spoke to Rose, "Aarav sir wants to install a Wi-Fi access point outside your room. He will be working here for a few days."
"I’ll help him," Rose replied.
"Okay,if I need something. Please arrange it," Aaravsaid, entering the conversation.
"Tell me what you need," Rose responded.
"Bring a big chart paper. I want to make a Wi-Fi installation layout diagram on it," Aarav instructed.
"Okay sir, I will bring it now," Rose said.
As Rose turned to leave, Mrs. Chachra said, "I will also send the lady attendant of this floor to assist you. If you need anything for Aarav, get it from my office." Mrs. Chachra told her.
"Ok ma'am," Rose replied. Mrs. Chachra left the room with Rose and headed back to her office.
Aarav stopped working for a moment andglanced around Rose's messy room and her sleeping roommate Himani. He decided to go outside.
Rose had already returned when he exited the room, "I will place a chair and table near the stairs outside. I will work there, just get me the table and chair," Aarav told her.
Rose nodded her head, a smile on her face, "Ok, sir, I will arrange it now," she said.
By then, the lady attendant on the floor had also arrived. Rose said, "Aunty, please show me where I can find a table and chair for sir to use, I have brought him some chart paper so he can work."
Thelady attendant directed Rose to where the table and chairs were, and together they brought themto the room where Aarav was standing.
Rose laid the chart paper down on the table and Aarav immediately sat in the chair.
"Sir, this is the right kind of paper you needed, isn't it?" Rose said as she watched Aarav sitting at the table.
Aaravlooked at the paper and nodded his head, "Yes, that's okay," he said.
"Sir, would you like something to eat or drink?" Rose asked.
"No, I don't feel like it right now," Aarav replied.
"Let me know if you need anything," Rose told him, turning around, she went to her room.
Aaravopened the chart paper, spread it out on the table, and started drawing the Wi-Fi layout on it.
There was a long gallery in front of the entire room, which was completely open, but there was no fan. Aaravcould feel the heat and some sweat on his forehead. He took out his handkerchief and wiped his forehead.
Aaravsat outside near the stairs, working. Roses's heart was pounding, sitting in her own room, she felt uneasy.
With Aarav working outside, Rose's heart was restless. At this time, she felt a strange joy in her heart which was sweetener than honey.
*******
Rose sat inside her room, feeling very restless. She got up from her bed and started walking around her room.
She repeatedly looked at the door, sometimes glancing at Himani sleeping nearby. She felt very impatient.
After a while, Rose finally gave in and woke Himani up by shaking her. "Hey, get up, it’s evening time,” Rose complained.
Himani heard Rose's voice, she got up and looked at Rose through her tiredness. Himani sat up in her bed and Rose said, "Hey, guess what?Aarav sir is working right outside."
When Himani heard the name Aarav sir, she was also shocked and in a startled tone said, "What isAarav sir doing outside?"
"Some Wi-Fi devices are being installed in the girls' dormitory, they are arranging them," Rose explained.
"So why don’t we go outside and see what they are doing?" Himani asked, already walking towards the door.
"Yes, come on," Rose agreed, following Himani closely.
Himani opened the door of her room and looked out, Aaravwas sitting at the table working.
Himani moved towards Aarav first, with Rose behind. When both of them approachedAarav, they lingered by the table.
"Good evening, sir,"Himani said.
"Good evening," Aarav replied.
"Sir, will there be no internet class in the evening today?"Himani asked.
"Why would there be no class?" He says, wiping sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief.
Himani asked, "No sir, that's why I was asking because you're working here, so how will the internet class be done?"
"There is still half an hour left until the internet class. I’ll finish working here before then, I need to work here tomorrow as well. We will need to work for many days now."
Rose interrupted and said, "Sir, are you feeling hot over here? There aren’t any fans. You can sit in my room for a while if you want, there is a fan, and the AC is also working."
"Oh no, I'm ok here. It’s a nuisance for you if I go there," Aarav answered.
“No sir, I don’t mind if you sit in my room, Himani doesn’t have any problems either," Rose told him.
Aarav did not answer, instead, he kept on with his work in silence.
Confirming Rose's point, Himani agreed, "Come on sir, we can see you sweating, please come inside our room for a moment."
Aarav’seyes raised as he looked up at Himani and Rose.
Aaravinvestigated Himani's eyes. He could tell Himani was being genuine.
Aarav then looked into Rose's eyes. Her eyes contained a plea to accept the invitation, and at this time, she seemed very compassionate.
After studying Rose's face, Aarav nodded his head slowly and said, "Ok…If both of you say it’s fine, then let’s go, I’ll sit in your room and work. I agree it’s very hot here."
When Rose heardhis words, a tune of happiness played within all parts of her body. Aarav looked at Rose's face carefully. The corners of her mouth were raised into a soft smile and her lips were slightly wet.
She said to Himani, "Let's put the table and chair in the room for sir."
Together, they lifted the table and carried it into their room. Aarav followed them and went inside the room.
*******
Rose and Himani placed the table and chair in the room from outside. Aarav sat on the chair and continued his work. Rose stood behind him, watchingAarav work.
After a while, Aarav picked up the phone and called the Wi-Fi service provider.
Rose asked, "Sir, when will this Wi-Fi be installed and how long will it be until we are able to use the internet on our mobiles?"
"The work has only just started, it will take some time, and then after that you can use the internet in the entire girls' dormitory," he explained.
"Sir, will we be able to use the internet on our laptops also?" Rose questioned more.
"Yes, why not? We can connect any device to the internet. “Aaravanswered.
"So, sir, will all thegirlsin the dormitory use the sameinternet? “Rose inquired
Aaravnodded his head, "Yes, why not?" He spoke.
"So, sir, won’t the internet speed be slow?"Rose questioned.
"No, it's not like that.” Aarav answered, “The university has a leased-line connection, with speeds of up to 100Mbps. The entire university can use the internet simultaneously."
"So, sir, I guess we won’t need to go to the computer lab for the evening internet class. We can do all our work from our rooms. “Rose suggested, smiling brightly.
Aarav agreed, "Yes, I suppose you could. Anyone with a laptop or computer can do it. But for students without computers or laptops, the lab will be open for project work."
After a moment of silence, Rose said, "Alright sir, I understand," nodding in agreement.
At that moment, Aarav's phone rang, the university’s service provider for the Wi-Fi device was on the line.
"Sir, we are all on our way to the university. Where are you?" The advisor spoke on the line of the phone.
"Where are you at?" Aarav asked.
"We’re already standing at the gate in front of the girls' dormitory,” the engineer answered.
"It's alright, I will come and let you in now,” Aarav told them.
He stood up from the chair and walked towards the gate of the girls' dormitory.
AsAarav stood up and walked, Rose, standing nearby, said, "Sir, I am going to the canteen. Do you need anything?"
"Yes, bring me a coffee, please" Aarav said while leaving the room. Rose and Himani also left their room to go to the canteen.
When Aarav reached the gate of the girls' dormitory, the guard sitting on the seat stood up and greeted him, "Good morning," he said.
Aarav looked at the guard and said, "Can you please make sign all of these people into the guest log, all of them will be working here for a few days."
"Ok Sir, I’ll do it," the security guard answered.
Aaravtook the Wi-Fi engineers and showed them the location of the Wi-Fi device installation. When the engineers saw the location, they started the work of Wi-Fi device installation.
After they looked settled, Aaravwent back to the first floor. He arrived at Rose's room and saw Rose waiting outside with a coffee cup in her hand.
When Rose saw Aarav, she smiled a grin with all teeth at him.
Rose said light-heartedly, "Sir, we have brought the hot coffee for you."
Aaravsmiled slightly at her, taking the cup of coffee from her hand, he said, "Thank you, Rose."
In response, Rose lengthened the smile of the lips and followed Aarav into the room. Himani, sitting on her bed, had been listening to their conversation.
Aarav sat on the chair and started sipping his coffee. Rose, stood in front of him, looking at Aarav's face with a smile as he sipped his coffee.
*******
The work of the Wi-Fi installation in the dormitorywas not yet complete, so the following day Aarav arrived at the girls' dormitory again.
The engineers working on the device installation had already arrived and were working on site. Aarav arrived where the engineers were working. Aarav saw that the work was going well, so he walked towards another location to check the other completed point. He checkedthe point closely and headed towards Rose's room. Rose and Himani's room had become Aarav's new office.
Rose was already standing outside the room, waiting for Aarav, when she saw Aaravarriving. She wished him good morning and opened the door of her room.
Aaravnodded his head at her, went inside the room and sat on his seat. He said to Rose - "Listen Rose, can you leave the door open today? It is very hot today."
When Rose heard, she opened the door of the room again.
At that time, Himani was not in the room, she had gone to take a bath in the bathroom. Rose sat on the bed and looked at Aarav and said, "Sir, how much more work is yet to be done?"
"It will take many more days," said Aarav, adding some guesses.
"So, sir, we’ll finally be able to run the internet on the entire university campus?"Rose asked.
"No, you’ll only be able to access the internet in the girls dormitory building."Aarav replied.
Rose nodded her head, “Ok Sir,” she responded.
Himani entered the room, having finished in the bathroom. Her wet hair was wrapped with a towel, she greeted Aarav warmly, "Good morning, sir...!"
"Good morning, Himani,"Aaravreplied.
"Good morning," she said again, opening the door of the balcony and standing outside to let the hot weather dry her hair.
As soon as Himani left the room, Rose, who was sitting on the bed, stood up and picked up her towel and toothbrush to go to the washroom to take a bath.
But then she stopped, realizing something, she was alone in the room with Aarav. She stood up and looked at Aarav's face, as he worked on the table.
Her heart began beating a little faster and with some untouched nervousness, she noticed her heart desired to be completely immersed in Aarav's love.
Holding a towel and toothbrush in her hand, she looked at Aarav with lined eyes, Rose said, "Sir...if I ask you something, promise you won’t scold me?"
When Aarav heard Rose's voice, he frowned and glanced at Rose, answering, "Why? Why would I scold you for no reason?"
Looking at Aarav with queer eyes and acting a scowl, Rose said, "Sir, I feel like dressing up in that outfit you scolded me for wearing to lab class. If you don't mind, can I wear that when I return from the shower?"
Aaravlooked at her with a confused stare, "Hey... how could I scold you again? This is your room; you can wear whatever you want. I can’t say anything bad about it," he said.
When Rose heard the answer from Aarav, her eyes light up. She took out her white top and blue shorts from the wardrobe, exited the room and entered the washroom, fluttering with joy.
*******
Aarav sat at his table working while Rose had gone to take a shower in the bathroom. After a while, Rose emerged, wearing the same white top and blue jeans shorts that she had worn in the lab that day when Aarav had scolded her.
Rose's wet hair hid her face and water dripped from her hair. Moving forward, Rose picked up her towel and started drying her hair with it.
She moved to stand in front of the mirror on the wall in a corner of the room. She picked up some face cream from her vanity table, massaged it on her face, applied a little oil on her mouth and hair, and also applied some lip balm on her lips. After that, she picked up a comb and detangled her hair.
At this time drops of water sprayed from her hair as she combed it, as if it were raining drops of dew. While combing, some drops from her hair fell on Aarav's face. Aarav picked up his handkerchief and wiped his mouth with it.
After combing her hair, Rose took out the same high heels slippers from under the bed that she had worn to the lab.
She wore the slippers and picked up a perfume bottle kept in front of her, spraying it on her neck. The fragrance of her perfume filled the whole room. After putting the bottle down, she walked slowly, coming to stand behind Aarav, who was still sitting at the table.
Aarav was too busy with his work to notice her. Rose stood quietly behind Aarav for some time and watched Aaravworking.
After a while, she grew restless and began moving around, finally stoppingbyAarav's right side. By this time, Aarav could feel Rose's presence, but he kept quiet without saying anything. After that, Rose stood in front of Aarav and the table.
Sitting on the other side of the table, Aarav could clearly see the delicate legs underneath Rose's shorts as she stood in front of him. Suddenly, Rose got the impulse to excite Aarav, she grabbed her waist with both her hands and turned around, facing the door on the other side.
Showing off her outfit from behind, she strutted towardsAarav and said, "Sir, how does my outfit look?"
Aarav, from the other side of the table, smiled a little and said, "Yes, your dress looks good."
Walking like a cat, Rose walked to the door and then turned back towards Aarav, standing in front of him holding her waist with both hands.
While Aaravworked on the table, he saw Rose standing in front of him, raising his eyes as he looked at Rose.
At this time, Rose's eyes appeared very humble, her stance was intoxicating. As Aarav raised his gaze, Rose connected the light of her eyes with the light of Aarav's eyes…
