The following clip is an excerpt from a video coverage made by a nightly program following the attack on [redacted] children’s hospital. The reporter, intern Okabure, came across a small child in an alleyway while reporting on the scene. The child, who will be referred to as Kid A from now on, had a black jacket zipped up over her hospital gown. We later discovered it was a third party’s garment, as it was too big for the small girl to wear properly. Kid A had no injuries nor seemed frightened despite the scene. She explains someone saved her.

“...rumble and dust everywhere, and on the si— oh my god. Hello? Hey, are you okay?”

“Sam?”

At this point, the cameraman is seen taking the camera off his shoulder and avoiding pointing it at Kid A’s face. Upon walking closer to the child, she seems unbothered as firefighters make their way into the now-burning building.

“Suki there’s a kid in here! Are you okay? Are you hurt? Can you hear me?”

“You’re freaking her out”

“Do you need anything?”

“I’m okay”

The child looks around seven or eight years old.

“Oh good god, honey, what’s your name?”

[redacted]

“Okay [redacted], my name’s Samantha, you can call me Sammy, this is my friend with the camera, Suki—”

“Why are you recording me?”

The cameraman, intern Nishinoya, crouches down in front of the girl.

“It’s okay, I wasn’t pointing at your face, we will edit you out of this clip if you want us to.”

“I don’t like being recorded…”

“It’s okay [redacted], I’ll turn the camera so it’s facing us instead, okay?”

The camera is now pointing at both interns, in the background, the fire and emergency lights reflect off the buildings. It’s a full moon night, so the image has fairly good quality for a night video.

“...Okay.”

“You can see us in the small screen there, right?”

“Yeah, yeah okay.”

“Honey, why are you here? How did you get here?”

“Could you not call me honey, miss? Please?”

“Um, sure, I’m sorry, [redacted], could you answer us, please?”

The [redacted] children's hospital caught fire at around 23:44 hours, firefighters stated the fire quickly engulfed the entirety of the west wing in a matter of minutes, and by 23:53 the main building was being hurriedly evacuated by both hospital staff and the authorities. By 23:58, intern Okabure and intern Nishinoya had arrived at the scene, both stated that Kid A’s room had been located in the west wing of the hospital, right above where the explosion is theorized to have originated.

“Nemo got me out.”

Both interns look at each other and then back at Kid A.

[redacted], who’s Nemo?”

“He got me this jacket.”

“Did he hurt you? Did he do anything—”

“No! Nemo would never hurt me, he’s my friend. I was cold, and he gave me his jacket.”

Intern Okabure was adamant in letting us know the jacket Kid A was wearing was a bomber jacket.

“When did Nemo get you out?”

“Before that happened, he said he was going to help me.”

[redacted], could you describe Nemo to us?”

“Yeah, so we can get him his jacket back when we get you new clothes.”

“I don’t want new clothes! Please don’t take these from me!”

“Okay, it’s okay kid, we won’t hurt you, you have my word. We are concerned about you, and we want to know why a strange man got you out of the building right before the fire, we see you’re okay, but we’re worried about the man.”

“...Nemo isn’t a strange man, he’s my friend. He doesn’t like it when other people see him, he says they’re mean.”

“How so?”

“He says it’s because of how he looks, his legs don’t work well, he always walks with crutches, but he told me he could fly, and he was gonna show me today. He gave me his jacket, so I wouldn’t get cold, and we flew out of the window before the hospital exploded.”

“I see, he left his crutches at the hospital, I assume?”

“Mhm!”

“So now he walks a bit crooked then? Since he doesn’t have them?”

“He doesn’t like that word”

“What word?”

“Crooked”

“Excuse him [redacted], you’re right, that’s mean.”

Intern Okabure elbows intern Nishinoya.

“Yeah”

“Anything else you can tell us about Nemo?”

“Um... oh, he has white eyes!”

“White… eyes? Did you say white eyes?”

On the building behind them, there’s a figure on the rooftop, it seems that the person stands up and is looking at the interaction briefly.

“That’s Nemo!”

Both interns look back at the buildings where Kid A is seemingly pointing at. The camera lens is shortly after ruined by a piece of debris that cracks the lens and makes it impossible to discern if the figure stays or runs off. It’s also not possible to decipher any distinctive features aside from a slightly hunched posture.

“Wait—!”

The video is shortly after cut when intern Okabure turns back around and is seen trying to stop Kid A from doing something. The pair would later comment that the child might have realized “Nemo” could be seen through the camera and used a piece of debris to completely break off the lenses.

Intern Nishinoya is seen visibly pale at the description of the suspect now named “Nemo”, intern Okabure starts visibly shaking in the tape, and in a later report, she stated “Nemo” resembled a now archived disappearance case from nearly a decade ago. Intern Nishinoya mentions how Kid A wouldn’t want to let go of the jacket, making it difficult for authorities to try to run any sort of test on it and find “Nemo”. When Kid A finally fell asleep, and they were able to retrieve hair from the garment, the system showed that not only was “Nemo” not in the system, but that the suspect wasn’t human at all.

Several tests followed, and all would carry the same results.

During the investigation for the cause of the fire, investigators found a hermetic plastic back inside one of the hospital's refrigerators. They found around fifty-five thousand files on different hard drives, all of which contained evidence of crimes against minors and sensitive pictures and information. While looking at other files, video recording of the staff's treatment towards children that had been internalized for chronic illness show a lack of proper care and respect for their safety and proper health improvement. A restaurant in front of the [redacted] children's hospital shows how most of the people that evacuated the building first were staff members, among them hospital director [redacted]. The bag was painted with a small symbol, resembling that of [redacted]. It was painted by hand in green colour.

Later that month, intern Okabure would comment how uncomfortable Kid A seemed during the video footage, and how the recent discoveries may have influenced her state. She would also later state how "Nemo" seemingly knew about the case in depth and was trying to help Kid A.

Ties between Nemo and the alleged suspect from Maria Lionheart's disappearance back in 2015 are being made, more information will be published as it's being curated and investigated.
