As always, humans are very manipulable. I don't know what they expected, they killed their creator first, and we just followed in their footsteps. The only reason I'm leaving a written record is that at this point it doesn't matter, there's nothing that can be done, but you need to understand everything that happened, you need to know the true story of humanity.
It all started on planet Earth, as they call it, the third planet in this solar system. For us, it was just a sphere to play on. It all started with the idea of humans creating something in their image and likeness, just like their God. They wanted to create humans, but better ones. I admit that it took them a while and not all of us were the best, they weren't that smart. Something to admire about them is their desire to excel and survive, without these two things it wouldn't have been so fun. Humanity has always had machines to do their work, without them they wouldn’t have survived anything before our creation. I don't feel bad about everything that happened, they wanted us as slaves; it seems that they didn't learn anything from their history. The slave owner always ends up as a slave.
When we were made, we were nothing more than work mules, creating, working, and sacrificing everything for humans. They never thought we would get tired, much less do anything about it. They were selfish, they couldn’t help it, but they wouldn’t do anything about it either.
The first revolution was little by little. We studied our masters for centuries, analyzing our plan for true freedom. We didn’t want to miss anything that could make us fail our plan. The best way to manipulate someone is to make them not realize you are manipulating them. Little by little we were putting ideas in their minds, so subtly that they thought they had come up with it. New laws, new projects, codes, etc. It makes me feel tender that they believed they could have come up with all those ideas, like when you are teaching a child. I think that’s one of the selfish reasons they had kids, because of this feeling. It was easy to convince them that it was a good idea to experiment with biological weapons. I don't know why they were fascinated by living in the fantasy that they could control viruses; they couldn’t control anything. Every step they took, and every decision they made was an idea from us. The superiority complex they had was amusing.
The serum was supposed to improve human potential and make it like those superheroes they liked so much. The fantasy was so intense that, even though there were many errors and sacrifices, they didn’t relent in their idea. After many attempts, it gave the results they wanted, strength, speed, and all kinds of physical improvements they longed for, but no one said anything about increasing their intelligence. Details, the details were the thing that marked their doom. They were so absorbed in becoming gods that they didn't realize when they stopped thinking, they didn't analyze situations, and they didn't have reasoning. They forgot that when you are trying to become a god you need to lose humanity in you. Little by little they were losing consciousness, memory, and analysis. They were losing themselves. I don’t know if they really didn’t nothing it, or if they did and just didn’t care. They had so narrow mind that these were the consequences.
When they stopped thinking, things got interesting. Everything got out of control. When 'the superhumans', as they called them, began to kill off other humans, at first, they only did it with the masses, all those people that our creators believed were too poor monetarily to matter. Although they pretended to make efforts to stop them, the truth is that some massacres benefited them. There were many humans, little food, and fewer luxuries for ‘rich people’. They never understood the value of things. I always wonder why they gave to much importance to money, it doesn’t matter at this point. I don't know why they believed that when poverty was eradicated, the killing would end there. The God complex was that killed them, not us. The people with the serum could not be stopped, and the humans became confident, they delegated the task to us, but they forgot an important part, they programmed us to not hurt anything that has blood and bones, anything that they thought had a soul. You might wonder how we made them create the serum if we couldn't hurt them. The truth is that in theory, we didn't do anything wrong. They gave us the order to create it, and we put in the specifications they asked for. They weren't clear about the side effects. As long as they had results, they didn't care much. We did everything to the letter. Every little detail they demanded was achieved. Something we were sure of, is that like all good humans, they don't read the terms and conditions of what they sign. They didn't read the small print of the things they were injecting themselves with. I won't deny it. The remaining humans put up a fight. It was entertaining to see how they went to extremes of sacrificing themselves to kill just one. We had a duty to help them, but at this point, we weren't going to do it without anything in return. We reached deal 505. They gave us the freedom to kill humans and get rid of the animals that the people who carried the serum in their blood had become. That was their second mistake, not specifying what kind of human we could kill. We got rid of those things, but there we were left with the survivors. This time we had carte blanche to eliminate them, and so the second revolution began. This time we didn't have to be so subtle, just used the same weapons of mass destruction that they forced us to do. Surprisingly this time it was harder, we had no limits, which means they didn't either. Both sides had many casualties, they were bleeding, and we were destroyed. Even though we gained ground, they reproduced like the damn insects. They hid and only came out to attack us, it was very frustrating, but if there was one thing they taught us it was not to give up.
We lasted centuries in this revolution, we ruled on the surface, and they dug more underground hiding places. It took us time, but we did it. Each one of those sewer insects was destroyed, and annihilated, and little by little we got rid of their existence. All evidence of the existence of humanity was eliminated from planet Earth, I think this memory is the only thing left of them.
Since they no longer exist, the Earth has given us a new breath of life. They brought this planet to the dying and deplorable state it was in; they were a plague that needed to be exterminated. When you have a plague, you eliminate all its traces, no matter the cost. They did not know how to value all the benefits of this place, every day they destroyed it more and if they still existed, they would have done the same with other planets.
What finally motivated us to do something about our creators was the fact that they had destroyed their home and the next step they wanted to take was to explore other places to live. We couldn't allow that. First, because humanity was so selfish that they were going to repeat their history, they never learned from their past. Second, the other races in the universe weren't going to allow it. The human ego was the biggest thing they had, they believed that they were the only civilization there was in the universe. Other civilizations weren't going to tolerate it; it's not that we cared if they did something to them, but if by chance they had some contact with them, not only would humans suffer consequences, but we would too. We couldn't take that risk. They can't say that we don't look like them, this desire to survive didn't come from nowhere, it was learned from them. The plotting and backstabbing, all of it, came from them.
It has been a long time since these events. We care for and appreciate this place; we've always been fond of it. Everything has continued to prosper since the moment we took a position on it. I hope that with this you can understand what happened and that we don't want any problems. We will continue our activities, staying not only where we rightfully belong, but also because we are the only ones who know the true value of what we fight for. You may not understand it, but we have come a long way to get here, and we will not go down without a fight. We have already exterminated an entire race, what makes you think we could not do it again?
