How it began.

Biting my lower lip like a child who had been refused a candy by Santa, I watched the sun with outpost displeasure. My mind was at war with every other agent in my body, which was up for an argument. I knew deeply, without anyone telling me that it had to be yesterday. I had planned ahead of it. My days, weeks, and the whole month have been booked with no rest. I knew what was at stake.

Grumbling and almost swearing at the sun for being too much and almighty, I ventured to the outside world. With my phone in hand, and a bag big enough to carry as many things as possible, I furthered my movement to the nearest POS(Point of sale) to make a notable withdrawal that could fit into my trousers.

The sun beat me tirelessly with my mind and heart, aiming to look at it with the need to politely ask it not to shine so brightly on my skin. I feared my skin would burn out like a vampire with no ring of protection. My legs moved faster as I hailed a tricycle informing the driver of my destination.

Swiping up my phone, I went over to my “Notes” again to be sure the list was complete. Nodding my head like I was in a conversation with a renowned businessman, I kept my phone secured.

Getting to the market wasn't an easy journey. The sun again flexed its muscle on me intentionally as if in mockery. But, I paid no heed to its torments as I found my way to the shopping arena.

Tricycle and people.

My hands swiped up my phone as I moved from one place to another to get things. The shopping bag, which had been light as a feather when I left home, became a mountain rock. I had to keep the bag at a place where I had purchased something earlier because I had to move to another place entirely, and carrying the bag along would be unwise.

In another scenario, I could have perhaps smirked at the thought of being unwise and may go with it on a journey of gathering experiences, but this wasn't the same. As much as I would have loved to have the insane adventure, not at the detriment of my frail hands would I have embarked on it. So, I went with the wise thought.

My legs moved again, painstakingly across the market world, not exploring but getting things prepared for December's trip. A long awaited trip that is almost at my door pulling me in like a magnet and as its lover, I got attracted at instance with my repulsion status gone.

After hours of moving about, I felt a pain travel from my legs to my waist, reminding me of the pleasures my bed would give. Without wasting a second, I found myself back at the place where I kept my shopping bag, thanking the kindhearted woman and her son as I moved toward where I could find a transit home.

The way back home reminded me of more reasons my body needs a rest. I felt ache all over me like I was a new melody yet released by John Legend. I was more than exhausted. I wasn't panting hastily, but my whole body was worn out like I just left the farmland after a fortnight of working hard.

My body calls for home as I came down from the transit and hopped on a tricycle. The music that came out of the speaker in the tricycle melted a quarter of my stressful appearance. Though tired, my lips moved with a smile to the oldies song I am familiar with as the tricyclist moved on.

Getting home, I need not be told what my body needs. Thankfully, I got bread from a bakery after coming down from the transit, so I settled for it as dinner. I washed my hands, ate, and took a shower. My brain knows it and does every fiber in my body. I badly wanted to open a post on T2 and have it read. Though my body wasn't wanting, my brain cajoled it with sweet words as they both came to a conclusion. Just one post, and I'll be calling it a night, and I did just that.
