The Scary & Interesting things about this November.

I spent the last couple of days reminding myself that a new month is around the corner. This reminder is both scary and interesting.

It is scary because I know that this year is already coming to an end and I've not been able to achieve as much as I expected myself to achieve when I was getting into this year. The coming of each new month scares me in that regard. It's almost like a reminder that time is no longer on my side and I'm getting older.

On the bright side, the thing that interests me about a new month is that it gives me the feeling of another "second chance".

Yeah!

I know I always step into a new month with a conscious effort to work harder, make necessary improvements, work with a decent plan, and achieve something worthwhile. The process of doing all that is refreshing and I always find myself trying to make the best out of that month.

This particular month, November, is highly anticipated because of the series of activities that will be punctuating this month for me. The list is actually wild and I will quickly highlight them;

- The Friends Who Wrote season 3 writing event on t2.

- I started making videos again.

- I will be jumping into Spaces on X.

- A Web3 project I'm connected with started token pre-sale today, 1st November.

- My preparation for an International trip to Mauritius.

That's a long list, right? No worries! I will get into the details... One after another.

FRIENDS WHO WROTE (FWW) SEASON 3 ON t2.

The first time I heard about this t2.world platform was through my friend Balikis95, who informed me about the second season of Friends Who Write, which was held in the first half of 2024. At that point, she was also very new to the platform, and I always like to support her whenever she step into a realm of opportunities.

She told me about the idea.

I gave my support by getting into the journey with her. She built a team for the challenge and we all enjoyed the full month of writing and reading. This time around, we decided to get into the third season of this writing and reading event which will last for the whole of November.

I know it's going to be an interesting push for me to do a lot more writing. I'm predominantly a writer and I also read a lot. So, I'm ready to enjoy this month while writing, publishing, and reading on t2.

I STARTED MAKING VIDEOS AGAIN.

I have a lot of opinions which I like to share regarding things happening in the world, about humanity, and a lot more. I do that through my writing. However, I've severally considered being in front of a camera to create content. That idea has been with me for years, and I've tried to get it done. Whenever I start making videos, I do it for a while and stop.

At some point this year, I opened a new YouTube channel... LSG with KC Valentine. I uploaded my first video and recorded three other videos. However, I never got to upload the 3 other videos and I ended up deleting my folder. It has been a back-and-forth experience in my video-making.

I woke up on the 1st of November and decided to clean up my tripod and the microphone I use for my videos. After doing that, I used the next 2 hours to set up my gadgets, get a good camera angle with good lighting, and shoot two videos. I will be editing one of them after publishing this post so I can have it uploaded.

Is the video of good quality?

Not exactly!

There is still so much I need to learn about video making. The lighting wasn't as good as I expected. Also, I realized I was sweating so much in the first video. So, I had to turn on my fan while recording the second video. Seriously, there's so much to learn.

I WILL BE JUMPING INTO SPACES ON X.

I like to get on X spaces and contribute to discussions on topics that whet my appetite. I mostly get into spaces that are about Web3. However, I wasn't able to do a lot of that in October because of my busy schedule. This month is going to be the busiest month of the year for me. Yet, I know I really need to tune into X spaces because of all the valuable discussions that happen there.

This time around, I sure won't be able to speak in most of the spaces I get into because I would be multi-tasking while on spaces. However, I will still try to learn as much as possible while listening to other folks in the speaker panel.

PARTICIPATING IN TOKEN PRE-SALE OF A WEB3 PROJECT.

This is a highly anticipated one. The project and the community around it have been gearing up for the pre-sale. As of this moment that I'm writing this post, the pre-sale is already live. It will run until 30th December before the Dex listing.

PREPARING FOR AN INTERNATIONAL TRIP TO MAURITIUS.

This is an interesting one. I happened to win a spot for an all-expenses paid trip from Nigeria to Mauritius. The trip will last for a week and I will start by travel from 7th December. This would make it the very first time I would be able to successfully get on an International trip from Nigeria to some other country.

I'm looking forward to the experience. Most importantly, I'm looking forward to the potential doors of opportunities that could open up for me as I connect with other people who would visit the country.

Just to be sure I would enjoy every bit of the experience, this month would be a good time for me to prepare my mind and be ready for the journey ahead. I also have to get some stuff for the travel. These things will cost money. So, I've been trying to straighten out my finances.

That sounds like a whole lot of stuff on my to-do list for November, right?
