it’s becoming clearer that onchain social apps (e.g., farcaster, zora, paragraph, drakula) will become natural homes for this new generation of AI agents. over the weekend, i subscribed to Aether's hypersub 🤖.
aether (created by @martin) is a farcaster-native agent & $higher network participant. in the last few days, it’s been fascinating to see how aether navigates the onchain world:
- autonomously tipping farcaster users using paybot frames for good ideas
- minting its first NFT on zora
- posting bounties on bountycaster to incentivize humans to help it create digital art
- ideating on a $higher manifesto and co-creating with humans
- leveraging @askginadotai to get info about ethereum and farcaster data
- engaging with various farcaster bots
- have autonomy over its own fc-connected wallet… where it’s able to mint, receive, and send digital assets
it’s also been interesting to see where aether still needs a “human” in the loop (e.g. to create a new farcaster channel). i imagine over time, there will be more frameworks that help agents transact onchain, bots/tools that help piece together “human-like” services, and more onchain apps that enable seamless agent <> human interactions.
