The streets are empty during the National Day, and I like the quiet with few people. I recently watched an Italian TV series (my talented girlfriend). A little background: Lenon and Leela were born into a lower class Italian family, the difference being Lenon's parents love their daughter more than Leela's. Because Lenon's father worked as a court porter, he realized the importance of education, so Lenon eventually read more books and became a writer. Leila's father, a shoemaker, did not believe in the importance of education. So Lila didn't go out of Naples (but Lila was smart enough to have her own company in middle age). After watching the last four seasons, I saw that Lenon had a friendly relationship with the people around her, while Lila's relationship with the people around her was extremely bad and extremely aggressive because of: 1) the unfair relationship between men and women in Naples at that time, and 2) the poor people at the bottom could not go to school. As a result, Lila, who was unable to assert her free will, showed aggression in direct proportion to the bad social environment at the time. Lila will speak for the tragic fate of women, on the day of Lila's brother's wedding, a woman said so to her sister-in-law, roughly meaning: thick thighs can give birth to a son, dry flat body is not good for giving birth to children. Leila, unconcerned with the opinions of those around her, threw the drink directly in the face of the woman who compared women to each other. Another thing that can reflect the character of Lila to protect the weak: in the elementary school math competition, Lila knew all the answers, but saw that because of the male classmate who was humiliated by others, she did not tell the answer. She doesn't like to beat the weak. She protects the weak. That's just Leela's character. Lenon's character is: when the mother is sick, the other children said that it does not need to go to the hospital anyway, it seems no big problem, Lenon insisted on sending her mother to the hospital. At the time of Lila's illness, she was a writer and Lila was a worker, and she felt needed by Lila to make herself feel good. When her former college boyfriend was wounded by fascists, she flew to Milan to see him. Lila will speak in a strong tone to Lila, but she bought books for Lenon in high school, and said she could give Lenon the money to read books, she encouraged Lenon to read more books, can make money independently, out of the bad Naples. She felt that she had not achieved the better lifestyle she wanted Lenon to achieve. She supported and influenced Lenon at the most important point in her life. Lenon extended Leela's spirit. Maybe I didn't read the book, I didn't see the jealousy between them clearly. I saw two people on the show who were there for each other when it mattered most. Eventually Lenon completed her studies and became a writer. Leila saw the potential of computers to set up companies with financial freedom that were respected by those around them. From being called a slut by her neighbors, her father, to her family treating her like a queen, everyone around her respects her. I think Leela's core needs to be respected.

Lenon's heart is full of love, and she is serious about being herself. She "does not love to separate", will not compromise because "everyone comes like this", will not be afraid of being said "divorced" and will settle with her husband. One is to protect the weak and fight against people in the chaotic society at that time; the other is gentle by nature and genuinely content to help family and friends when they are in trouble. Lila influences Lenon, Lenon supports Lila. You say why they all realize their own heaven and earth. I think it's their innate personality. Just two very good personalities who realized the disadvantageous plight of women in a period of national development and united to support their career success. The two of them are naturally good. And because of the two sides of people, we can't assume that Lila and Lenon don't have the dark side of human nature and that two people are jealous of each other (because I only watched the TV series and didn't read the book). The author of the book has the same name as the mistress of the book, Ong Lai Non, and I feel that she is writing about real people. When watching TV dramas, I was moved by the author's temperament. So I'm pretty sure that's what really happened between the author and her friend. What's more, the friendship is not without its dark side. Just because of Leela's big picture and Lenon's pure lover's heart. So their friendship in general brings great good energy to each other.

Who's more satisfied with his life, Lenon or Leila

I think Lenon is more satisfied with her life. Everyone wants to be successful in his field of interest. Lila (the stubborn and smart one) she's a protective character who wants better relationships between people, so I think she wants to go to a bigger city. But not like Lenon, going to college meant meeting better people. After graduating from elementary school, she designs better shoes in her father's shop, and then marries a man she doesn't like (a premarital good disguise, profit first businessman. Lila was chosen for her body and intelligence) and has been in Naples since her marriage. The last achievement of such a magnificent person was in a small place. So, I think Lila (the stubborn one, not pejoratively) is not very satisfied with her life, and Lenon is more satisfied with her life. Lila is not miserable, she has her respected Enzo (who liked her as a child) waiting and accompanying her. She has always wanted to be how, there are several men around (triad nature) willing to give her money to support her, she does not look at what unclean money. So she didn't use the money to open stores in bigger cities. Even if she stayed in Naples, she would not take advantage of dirty money and people to go out. She wouldn't sell herself. Perhaps Leela regrets not using a clean way to get to places with more opportunities. Such a pure person, seeing that most people are just profit-seeking and uninteresting and that it is difficult for her to accomplish her ideal achievements (writers, influence) because of the chaotic market after World War II, so she alleviates this reality by leaving all people. Female independence is a very difficult thing in the past era. People are very easy to be affected by the environment, the author uses her very real and in-depth techniques to write two excellent women with stubbornness, smart, brave, serious, complete self-independence. As the saying goes, "Words defeat time." The author uses her words to influence more people and make the world a better place. I also hope that we can try to learn from Lenon's "serious work", Lila's stubbornness, uncompromising, and protecting others. Make the world a little better.
