Have you heard of “Law of Bamboo”?

It is a Chinese proverb.

Bamboo only grows 3 centimeters in the first four years, but from the fifth year onwards, it grows wildly at a rate of 30 centimeters per day, and grows to 15 meters in just six weeks.

Similar to how bamboo grows, before achieving great success or wealth, you must first endure extreme hardships and challenges.

Law of Bamboo

“To reach the high, you must first go through hell."

This is what green makes me feel.

Grace in motion, zen in stillness.

It’s not as extroverted as red, nor as it be introverted as purple. It’s neutral, it’s like the stillness in the center of the storm. You never know how much of power it holds within, and how powerful it can be when it’s unleashed.

Green is not just a color; it's a state of being.

I call it “the Super Green”.

Green

2023 was a year of relentless storms for me.

I lost a job I had poured my heart into with the founder disappeared without paying me after helping him build a startup for a year.

I lost a relationship that held the promise of forever.

I lost my beloved aunt forever who had been like a mother.

My parents' health struggles added to the tempest.

When it rained, it truly poured.

It's okay to cry sometimes

At the same time, Muay Thai came into my life.

I wrapped my fists in green, stepping into the ring,

Boxing became my refuge, each punch releasing pain.

In the midst of career turmoil and personal loss,

I found solace in the rhythm of heavy bags.

When life rained blows of betrayal and grief,

I stood, a verdant forest weathering the storm.

In the quiet moments between roundhouse kicks,

I discovered the soft whisper of inner peace.

"Relax. Be like water."

Bruce Lee’s wisdom turned into my mantra.

In fluidity, I transformed fury into focus.

Eyes wide open, calm in the face of fear,

I learned the power of patient observation.

Green is balance—yin and yang intertwined.

In gentle meditation and explosive force,

In nurturing self-care and disciplined training,

I forged my path from shadow to light.

Anger that once consumed now taught forgiveness,

Fear that paralyzed bred courage instead.

Each challenge, a seed of growth within.

I realized: life happens through me, for me—

No longer victim, but author of my story.

no rain, no flowers.

Now, centered in my green power,

I move through life with grace and purpose.

A testament to the strength found in stillness,

And the profound impact of quiet resolve.

This is my Super Green—

Born from anger, blossoming in peace,

The harmony of zen and athleticism,

The blend of soft and strong,

The quiet power within.

through sun and rain I 'll keep blooming
