I’ve been here for a while
But I’ve just started noticing
This city is not my city
But I’ve just started noticing
I walk through the streets
Not too wide, not too thin either
Just enough not to make an impression
I look at the buildings
Not too tall, not too short either
Just enough for the people who live there
Ah, the people who live there
Not too bright, not too dull either
Just enough to live an okay life
They’re not sad, not that happy either
Eating some food, not bad, not quite tasty either
They’re not bad parents, not that great either
The kids, they do the right thing,
Always the right thing
As expected, just like their parents:
They never go wrong and
They never go right.
That is the way this city works -
Full of dead souls walking
Dead after mass second-hand suicide
This is the liveliest graveyard you’ll see:
Second-hand suicide city
But I’ve just started noticing.
