Four friends — Tom, Jerry, Amy, and Lucy — decided they needed a break from their mundane lives. After a few too many drinks one night, they hatched a plan to sail to an uninhabited island for a week of sun, sea, and absolutely no responsibilities.

The morning of departure, they gathered at the marina with enough supplies to last a month.

"Did you really need to bring an inflatable flamingo, Jerry?" Amy asked, trying to stifle her laughter.

Jerry, grinning from ear to ear, replied, "It's not just any flamingo, Amy. It's a party flamingo!"

Tom, the self-proclaimed captain, struggled with the map, turning it upside down and sideways. "Uh, guys, which way is north again?"

Lucy rolled her eyes and grabbed the map. "You navigate like a toddler with a crayon."

They set sail with much fanfare, only to realize an hour later that they were going in circles.

"Why do all these islands look the same?" Tom grumbled.

"Maybe because we've been staring at the same one for the past hour," Lucy retorted, pointing to a small island that they'd been circling.

Eventually, they managed to find their way and anchored near a pristine beach. They jumped into the water and swam to shore, dragging their supplies through the surf.

"This is it, our very own island paradise!" Amy declared, throwing her arms wide.

"And our very own beach party," Jerry added, inflating the flamingo with gusto.

Setting up camp was easier said than done. Jerry attempted to pitch the tent and ended up tangled in the poles.

"Jerry, are you wrestling the tent or pitching it?" Lucy asked, laughing.

"Both, apparently," Jerry muttered, trying to free himself.

Amy and Tom went to gather firewood but returned empty-handed, having gotten lost in the dense foliage.

"We followed the sound of birds and ended up in a nest," Tom explained, holding up a gigantic egg. "I think we stole a dinosaur's lunch."

As night fell, they sat around the fire, toasting marshmallows. Tom strummed his guitar, playing the same three chords over and over.

"Do you know any other songs?" Lucy asked, exasperated.

"Nope, but I play these three really well," Tom replied with a wink.

The week was filled with hilarious mishaps—Jerry trying to fish with a selfie stick, Amy getting a sunburn shaped like a handprint, and Tom building a "signal fire" that nearly roasted them alive.

On the last day, as they prepared to leave, they realized they'd forgotten the one thing they actually needed: the boat keys.

"Well, I guess we're staying another night," Jerry said, flopping onto the sand with a sigh.

"Who needs civilization anyway?" Lucy laughed. "We've got everything we need right here."

And so, the four friends settled in for one more night of island shenanigans, making memories they'd laugh about for years to come.
