Any single natural or chemical fiber cannot meet these requirements, and can only achieve these functions as much as possible through the composite of multiple fibers and multi-channel chemical finishing.

1. Warmth retention: Although warmth retention is closely related to the thickness of the fabric, users do not like bedding such as blankets that are too heavy, so keeping warm and lightweight has become a basic requirement for bedding at present. The most common method to achieve this requirement is to make the interior of polyester fibers porous and hollow, so that the fibers contain a large amount of non circulating air, and the exterior is made into a spiral curl shape to maintain fluffiness. Therefore, it can play a good insulation role while ensuring lightweight texture.

In addition, special ceramic powders containing chromium oxide, magnesium oxide, zirconia, etc. are added to the spinning solution of synthetic fibers such as polyester, especially nanoscale micro ceramic powders. Antibacterial and deodorizing properties: Due to the frequent use of towel products dipped in water and generally placed in relatively humid environments, microorganisms can multiply in large numbers, which may cause the towel to emit an odor and cause itching in the user. Therefore, the requirements for towels are relatively high, and it is best to undergo antibacterial and odor resistant chemical treatment. The general approach is to use finishing agents with bactericidal properties to give them a certain degree of antibacterial properties. This type of natural antibacterial agent has certain health benefits, but due to limited technology for fixing antibacterial agents at present, the washing resistance of antibacterial agents is not good enough. The antibacterial performance decreases slightly after each washing, and generally disappears completely after dozens of times.

3. Anti fouling and stain resistance: Sofa fabric household textiles are required to be as resistant to stains as possible, and once stained, they should be easy to wash and remove. The current commonly used technology is to change the surface properties of fibers, significantly increasing the surface tension of fabrics, making it difficult for oil and other stains to penetrate into the interior of fabrics. Mild stains can be removed by wiping with a damp cloth, and heavier stains are also easy to clean. Anti fouling finishing not only prevents oil pollution, but also has waterproof and breathable properties, making it a practical and effective advanced chemical finishing method.

4. Waterproof properties: Household textiles such as curtains and sofas require the fabric to have good waterproof properties. Waterproof fabrics utilize the surface tension characteristics of water and apply a layer of PTFE (with the same chemical composition but different physical structure as PTFE, the "king of corrosion-resistant fibers") on the fabric to enhance the surface tension of the fabric. This chemical coating prevents water droplets from penetrating the pores on the surface structure of the fabric, thereby achieving waterproof effects.
