Chocolate is no less a cult product than cheese and wine. Every second Frenchman treats himself to a treat made from cocoa beans every day. And the annual consumption of chocolate in France is about 403,000 tons! The main hit is dark chocolate with orange.
Of the fats, true dark French chocolate contains only cocoa butter. And it is produced from selected cocoa beans grown on plantations in Madagascar, Brazil, Venezuela and Côte d’Ivoire.
