One weird thing about me is that I’m patriotic. More than my counterparts.

The US has done nothing but set black people back and somehow I’m still patriotic. So many of my forefathers fought for this country. And they told me because they took a bullet I better be thankful.

And so I was. I mean my great uncle fought in the second world war and was denied veteran benefits because of the color of his skin. And he taught me to be patriotic. Idk. I might be crazy.
