All normal people dream of living in peace on our planet and they wish there were no wars. Of course I am no exception of this rule and I also want all countries living in harmony and not start any wars.
After the horrible World War II where more than 55 million people died, the mankind started to think how to make the world a safer place. In order to make it happen, an international organization was created — the United Nations Organization (UN). It was created to ensure security in the world and to solve any problems among countries. Right now it includes 193 countries. The UN managed to prevent global world wars but there are still local conflicts between countries. Unfortunately, there are large and small wars every year and thousands or sometimes tens of thousands people die. These can be both military and civilians, women and children.
It seems to me that the United Nations should make great efforts to prevent various military conflicts from happening. And international courts must punish war criminals more severely.
I believe that one day people will make a model that will provide us with the world with any wars and weapons will stay only in museums. I really hope that I will live up to that great moment.
I would like to address the leader of countries who start wars under cover of various reasons. Please stop fighting, negotiate as much as possible at the negotiating table and do not rush to use military force!
