Early Access
We’ve been building out some fun perks for those of you here now that want to reserve a spot for Twigg’s launch.
Keep an eye out for an email in the next day or two that will have instructions on how to reserve a spot on our early access list for the Twigg app.
There will be some exclusive benefits only available for those on the list, including an “early adopter” badge and rewards for referrals.
The next few months we’ll be focused on growing the size of our community through that list, leading into MVP which is slated for Q3 of this year!
TwiggTales Success — and $200 on the line this week!
Last month saw the success of TwiggTales, a writing contest we hosted with T2. Dozens of Twigg community members wrote an incredible 143,000 words within the span of a few weeks, and our community earned a significant portion of the $13,500 in prizes that were awarded! Congrats to team Twigg for showing up strong.
You can read all the creative writing entries here: https://app.t2.world/t/twiggtales. In fact, you can earn $100 by reading them this week (through the end of April), as we announced a $100 prize for the top reader and $100 for the top writer this month (T2 tracks “time points” for reading as well as writing).
Stay tuned for more squad-based contests and prizes in the month of May!
New partnerships
We recently announced that we were accepted into Story Protocol’s exclusive Builder program. You can see the X announcement with some more details here: https://twitter.com/twigg_stories/status/1780201337499578734
We also have a new flagship IP partner in Unioverse (https://www.unioverse.com/), a gaming and IP brand with published comics and novels and a large active writer community
Community
Weekly Outlaw Gatherings have continued to drive creative conversation and fun every Thursday. We’ve also had some great spaces with T2 (https://twitter.com/twigg_stories/status/1778473324776968207) and Vagabond Magazine (https://twitter.com/E_H_Carpenter/status/1770121548860690763)
How to get involved
There are a few simple things you can do to support Twigg during this stage:1. Attend Outlaw Gatherings and twitter/X spaces — they’re fun, help everyone stay informed, and form tighter community bonds!
2. Make introductions to partners that may be a good fit for collaboration or investment.
3. Keep developing you own stories, and share progress/get community feedback in the Twigg server so we can help you get them in ship shape in time to publish when we launch! Ultimately, your stories are the most important part of this whole ecosystem — what it’s all about. 💜
Conclusion
We’re incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of this mission to reimagine storytelling — as we make the user experience more rich, engaging, and memorable than ever before, while giving creators full control over their work and fan relationships.
If you have questions or thoughts don’t ever hesitate to reach out — just respond to this email, or find me on any other platform. 🤝
All the best,
Stephen
