Richard, an American youth thirsty for adventure, goes to Thailand, where he meets a strange man in a cheap hotel. This man hands him a map of a mysterious island where “grass” grows like a weed and a commune lives on the beach. This is heaven on Earth. Richard meets a couple of Frenchmen, and the three of them go to this island.
