What does WEB3 create? What category does the crypto space belong to? To me, it seems like it's an entertainment sphere, something akin to Netflix, where you can allow yourself these pleasures only after taking care of essential needs like bills, food, education, or other urgent matters. This neither diminishes nor increases the value of this space; it's just important to understand that it's a specific ecosystem with its own rules of the game. To play and sometimes win in this game, you need to know these rules rather than make up your own. I like the combination of gambling and the opportunities in the crypto space. The speed at which everything changes and new things are created, the reliable long-term projects, projects of a single cycle – it's desirable to distinguish one from the other. And here we have this context of casinos and investments, greed and fear. Those who have been in this field for several years understand that risks can be very costly; you could lose everything and more. Teams building a new network focused on a future token are no longer as generous and thoughtless in distributing airdrops; they focus on scores and points. This says something because now earning from airdrops is becoming increasingly difficult, although still possible. It's almost impossible without initial capital.
Many flashy promising projects often turn out to be disappointments and a waste of time and money. Projects that promise nothing can ultimately bring good returns. How to differentiate one project from another, and is it even possible? There are investors who enter projects at early stages; to me, this is one of the few triggers to pay attention to when choosing a project. Also, the community is very important – Twitter followers. Then the question arises: when you find such a project, is it worth investing the entire sum in it and hope for a jackpot (if you're lucky), or is it better to diversify among different projects? In my opinion, it's better to distribute your capital among different projects so that you are insured against the failure of one or several projects.
Furthermore, when a project launches on the mainnet and distributes or sells tokens, and you become an early token holder, what to do when the token grows by 100 or 200 percent – sell or hold? Here, you need to look at how healthy the ecosystem is, how the team behaves. If everything looks great to you (though this is not a research-based view that includes the TVL of the ecosystem, healthy community interest, product development, and other aspects), then it's worth holding on. If you suspect any changes for the worse, it's better to sell some tokens of this project (decide on the percentage yourself, but never sell everything so you don't regret later). Of course, this doesn't always work so literally, but usually, it does.
