Before becoming a Christian, I had written a book named HeavySubject (China: People’s Publishing House, 1987), an1 examinationof traditional Chinese culture. One part of the book focuses on LaoTzu. I now frankly admit that at that time, I did not reallyunderstand Lao Tzu.
