I have very smart friends and family members who are convinced vaccinations are a scam.

I have very smart friends and family members who are convinced vaccinations are the greatest invention of the world.

Maybe, I'm not so smart, but I think it would be a very hard secret to keep if vaccinations were a scam. There are a lot of trusted & influential people who would have to be in on the scam. There would be so many people who would need to be paid off. There would be an astounding number of people being paid off to keep the secret or threatened to stay quiet.

This would be the greatest conspiracy in the history of the world.

When I weigh the smart people on one side versus the weight of the smart people on the other side it comes down to two choices:The majority of smart and educated people believe in vaccines or the majority of smart and educated people are scamming us all.

Smart people are no better at keeping secrets than stupid people.

So my conclusion is to trust the science that is put forth even if it ends up being wrong.
